Veterinary Anatomy and Histology - Veterinary Sciences

Veterinary Anatomy & Histology deals with the teaching and research on comparative gross and microscopic structures of body parts, organs and tissues of different species of animals and birds and offers 13 credit hour courses spread in two academic years (four semesters) to the B.V.Sc. & A.H. students during the first two years of the degree programmes and supporting courses to postgraduate M.V.Sc. students.

Veterinary Anatomy & Histology undertakes teaching and research on milk and meat hygiene, diseases of public health and zoonotic importance and environmental hygiene and offers 6 Credit Hour Courses on Veterinary Public Health spread in two academic years (3 Semesters) to the B.V.Sc. & A.H. students during the third and fourth year of the degree programme and is offering supporting courses to postgraduate (M.V.Sc.) students. The department offers M.V.Sc degree programme from the academic session 2007-08. The Department also offers a 3 credits course on Veterinary Epidemiology to final year BVSc & AH Students.
